Notice he uses a TAGLINE to start the POST:

While most people don’t look at life in this kind of way, some do, and if you can gather the right resources, you’ll pass this so-called game with flying colours.
Now at first, you may not achieve very high scores, but remember, practice makes perfect- and I know you’ve probably heard that from many other ‘games’ (or sports) you’ve been playing.
Many successful players have found the number one resource you’ll need to buzz through levels. This resource is learning. Now, by learning, I don’t only mean things such as school, college or university. I mean the real type of learning that you do for the majority of your day, every day. Observing. By observing things such as how things work, why they do what they do, and what makes them work will allow you to see beneath the surface.
It all beings with the birds n’ the bees, Adam n’ Eve!
You were assigned a character (yourself) by random. Now don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t totally random. Your character was ‘formulated’ from a mixture of genes that came from your parents.
The first 10 years of life are pretty basic… so I’m just going to skip over them (unless anyone wants to hear about potty-training!?).
This one is tough. But remember, we all have to go through it to get to the next level. Just stay strong.
The teenager stage could be one of the most struggling stages of your life.. you have to go through puberty, learn to drive, learn how to dress for the ladies (or gents!), and learn many other important factors of life!
Let’s hope you don’t run into any ‘bad guys’ (bullies) in this stage. If it does happen, you just have to remember that you can’t let anyone’s ignorance or hate stop you from becoming the best person you can be. You are not physically in the wrong here; that person is either having a bad day, week, month, year, or life. Love yourself.
YOUNG ADULT STAGE.
While you are in this stage you should feel very absorbent. You will be able to soak in lots of content every day and be able to do this for many hours straight. You will feel the best you ever have.
This is the time to really dig into something you want to do for the rest of your life. You will never be able to absorb content as good as you are able to in this stage.
One important thing in this stage is to keep your eyes set on the number one resource, observing.
This may sound simple, but you really need to dig into this to get where you want to go.
As you are growing your skills, you may get tired and weak. But you have to remember to keep that perseverance. This is a skill in itself.
HOW TO KEEP MOTIVATED.
Many people, including myself, will struggle with this. Don’t worry. Everybody has most likely gone through this stage.
When this happens, you will want to do the following steps:
- Set your goals straight – make a checklist of all the goals you want to achieve for a set timeline (today, this week, this month, this year, etc.) and reinforce them daily.
- Make a day plan and stick to it – write out the things you want to accomplish today and make sure to check them off as you go. This will keep your body and mind on the same path. Only worry about the things on that list.
- Imagine your future the way you want it to be – Desire, faith and persistence. Napoleon Hill, in his book ‘Think and Grow Rich’, states that an individual with desire, faith and persistence can reach great heights.
- Keep the ‘health bars’ high – Eat healthy. Stay healthy. One way to eat healthy is to actually eat at home and make your own food. Another great way to eat healthy is to experiment with new things, don’t always follow the recipes! You can stay healthy by continuing with physical activity. Whether that be sports or not, you can achieve the same by having a morning routine (walk or workout). These will not only help you in the long run, but they will make you feel GREAT!
- 20 Mile March – concept from Jim Collins’ book Great By Choice. The 20 Mile March is a type of strategy. To sum the story up I will say this: instead of walking 40-50 miles in good weather (and none in bad weather), walk 20 miles every day no matter what the weather is like. You will achieve your goals much faster with persistence.
Everything you do will determine how quickly you pass these levels. If you keep your body and mind on the same path, you will fly with golden colours.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT TASKS TO LEARN
This is an important one. Some of the things you do, such as eating, are necessary. These will keep those ‘health bars’ we were talking about in the green.
Other tasks might affect your current skill set, such as dancing.
Practicing skills such as the one above is important. Some skills you may want to stay away from:

Some of the tasks you probably won’t want to take part of are:
- Heavy drinking
- Buying lots of stuff you really don’t need
- Having an abundance of something when you don’t really need an abundance of it… (hoarding)
I’m sure you see the pattern. These ‘bad tasks’ may have become familiar with you while you were in your teenager stage, but make sure you stay away from them if you want a clear set path to success.
While you may be thinking, “What skill is the best for me to learn?”, you have to remember that not one skill is better than the other. The best thing to do is to practice as many skills are you can. This way you open up many doors to opportunities.
This really is a game within a game. A so-called mini-game. You have probably been practicing this stage for many years now (starting in the teenage stage). But when you find that perfect companion, you’ll know it.
Choosing someone as your “second-half” is a tough level in life. You have to be absolutely sure to choose the right person, because “till death do us part”….
Always remember not to judge a book by it’s cover. You never know what’s inside.
Seriously… imagine that… a new book may have a beautiful cover but is empty inside (it’s still being written), while an old Egyptian book may have a ratty cover but at the same time have valuable information inside worth millions.
This stage seems to be the most important for many.
Wealth comes in many shapes and sizes. It can be the physical ‘money’ you get after receiving a paycheque or the valuable things in life such as your friends and family. No matter what wealth is to you, it is important.
When you arrive at this level, you may be scared out of your mind. You may have kids on the way (from your recent marriage) or have a new job to attend to. You just have to remember that you must keep your body and mind on the same path. Never stray from this path. Keep your goals high.
While going through this level you must remember that physical wealth (money) must be taken seriously. You must remember to spend it wisely and always have a “rainy day fund” just in case your path gets a bit rough.
A few tips about wealth:
- Never let physical wealth (money) take over your life.
- Best of both worlds – make sure you collect many types of wealth in your life. Don’t let the physical wealth (money) engulf other valuables in life. You will be more happy this way.
- Do what you love. Make sure you get a job that you know you will like, or else you’ll spend the majority of your life unhappy. No one wants this. Don’t do it for the money.
- The best way to make money – start a business of your own. This is about the only way to achieve the top of the pyramid physical wealth. If you succeed, you will make plenty more than you would make with the best paying job in the world (2013: Surgeon. Earnings up to $180,000/yr.)
This stage may be the most influential stage of all for your legacy. You will want to have achieved most of your goals when you have arrived at this stage.
Your ‘health bars’ in this stage will reflect what events occurred in the adult stage. They will not be as strong as they once were, but if you kept yourself healthy during your adult stage you will be doing better than the rest.
Most of your skills will pretty much be at the highest level they will ever get to because of the fact that you are not so absorbent as you used to be.
This stage is where you will want to focus most of your attention to reinforcing your current skill set to keep them from draining out.
And if you played the game right, you will leave this Earth with a legacy left behind. Whether that legacy be big or small, you will have made a difference.
Let this be a guide. But remember to make your life yours… so don’t follow this guide to the pin.
